Make Music Edmonton 2018

June 21st from 5-9pm

The Fête de la Musique Festival originated in Paris in 1982, as a way of bringing the people to the streets in celebration of the summer solstice.  The idea began as an all-day celebration of “the music everywhere, and the concert nowhere”. A way for all walks of life to come together to celebrate music, and a chance for all types of musicians to play in the streets.

Fête de la Musique translates to “Make Music”, and the Make Music Edmonton Festival was brought to our great city in 2014 thanks to the efforts of the community at the Alliance Français d’Edmonton.
