Carla Hutchings grew up working with her hands and had tried many crafts before landing on leather work. She learned how to work with leather and sew at a young age, and started making things for her friends. The demand grew to the point when she decided to create a business, and Fulcrum Leather was born.

Carla wandered far from home to find herself through painting. Born in Canada and having lived for a decade in New Zealand, a doctorate in political philosophy and a stable job at the University of Otago was the path to a regular painting practice.

Westmount Soap Co. was founded by Ryan Lister, a maker hobbyist, father of three and proud Westmount resident. Ryan is committed to making an all-natural product that he could use at home with his young family. His soap is scented only with high quality essential oils. They contain no artificial colours, fragrances or synthetic ingredients.
Tiny Treats Soap Co is comprised of one girl who formulates and designs all aspects of each product. Tiny Treats Soap was created out of love for all things beautiful. Her goal is to produce natural products with skin nourishing ingredients that have been consciously formulated but are still fun.
Lori Frank is an Edmonton artist who describes her painting style as an impressionist realist. She spends hours in Edmonton's beautiful river valley photographing some of our better known hiking trails and bridges, giving them new life with her unique painting technique.
Damon D Chan is a cartographer based in Edmonton, Alberta. We feature a unique collection of typographic neighbourhood city map prints and cards. Each line and letter is thoughtfully placed to create a minimalist yet complex artwork. Everybody has a place they identify themselves with. Whether it’s a city you call home or a place of significance, our map designs provide an opportunity to display your places.
Fieldwork was created from a desire to provide items that we ourselves were searching for. We create custom leather and waxed canvas goods, ranging from pouches, pencil rolls, Dopp kits, to notebook covers. Designed with life in mind, from adventuring to staying at home, we created products with our lives in mind, believing that they can make your life a little easier too.
Love Plus Design was established in 2010 by Sofia Morgadinho. At the time, Sofia’s main focus was wedding stationery; since then she has expanded slowly to include various products and gifts such as: paper products, mugs, cake toppers, and more. Being a part of the local business community, it is important that Love Plus Design does its part in supporting, collaborating, and inspiring other local companies.
Cate Kuzik is a local, community-taught artist currently creating her letterpress creations in Edmonton as Ochre Lea (oh-kerr-lee). Fueled by a passionate connection to traditional handmade techniques during this increasingly digital age her goods are made with an emphasis on fun, bright colours, and graphics with mildly inappropriate phrases to make folks smile.
