NSS - 3 Days Left!

This coming May long weekend I have a unique, and incredible opportunity to attend the National Stationery Show in New York City.

Having worked in the stationery industry for several years, I have been aware of, and yearned to attend, this amazing exhibition that brings a global attendance of both exhibitors and buyers. My former employer, having been a dozen times over the past several years, will be accompanying me as I navigate my way through hundreds of the finest stationery exhibitors in the world.  I am so grateful to have her with me, both as a guide and an advisor.

Over 19 countries from across the globe are anticipated to exhibit here, bringing the best in new stationery, greeting cards, giftwrap, home office, writing instruments, jewelry, candles and more.   I cannot tell you how excited I am to be able to find new products to bring my customers, to meet the faces behind the names of suppliers I only know through email, and to know that I am walking among the giants of this paper industry that I love.

There’s Only One Stationery Market in North America. And the NSS is it.
“For more than 70 years, the NSS has been the place for all things paper – from greeting cards, custom invitations, gift wrap and journals, to lifestyle gifts – and everything in between. The NSS offers a streamlined, focused platform for meaningful business development.  The atmosphere is highly creative, yet very serious, attracting store owners and top buying executives from thousands of diverse businesses worldwide, and engaging exhibitors from designer-makers to well established companies.   The NSS is also the launching pad for 200+ emerging, trend-leading businesses each year, a true discovery zone!”

When you register to attend the NSS, you start receiving the most amazing mail! Each is an invitation to visit a particular vendor booth. I don’t know how many exhibitors go this extra mile to grab your attention, but it certainly worked for me! Even my mailman was impressed, stating, “Your store gets the prettiest mail!”

Next week, I will share my experience and tell you what I found.
